Google DeepMind Launches ATL Saathi to Empower India’s Next Generation

Google DeepMind has officially unveiled “ATL Saathi,” a major initiative launched in July 2026 to nurture young innovators across India. In partnership with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), the program brings advanced AI education and direct mentorship to students at thousands of Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) nationwide.

The project focuses on grassroots empowerment, enabling students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to use AI as a tool for solving local community problems. By bridging the digital divide, DeepMind aims to cultivate a new workforce capable of leading global technological shifts, marking a strategic investment in India’s massive human capital.
